Supervisory Accountant NF-04.

Duties

• Supervises 10 to 15 employees providing accounting services to 15 to 20 installations and makes assignments by outlining the overall objectives and the resources available.
• Provides guidance and direction necessary to effectively accomplish mission requirements.
• Serves as point of contact for all matters dealing with the accounting function.
• Performs selected reviews of source documents, accounting records and financial statements to ensure conformance with regulations and NFS operating procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

• Two years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree.
  
  

OR

• One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in a senior or supervisory accountant capacity.
  
  

PLUS

• In addition to 1 or 2 above, possess a four-year degree in accounting or related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting.
  
  

OR **Resume MUST clearly reflect qualifications in order to be considered

• Four years' experience in accounting or combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge and included one of the following:
• 24 semester hours in accounting or auditing courses
• Certificate as Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor
• A four-year degree from an accredited college which includes a minimum of 15 semester hours in accounting and auditing.

• This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
