About the Role
Dexter is hiring a Metro Driver to run established local delivery routes. This role is all about safe driving, on-time deliveries, and good customer service — no long hauls, no overnights.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive company trucks on local routes to deliver product to customers
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Load and unload product as needed
- Collect payments when required and record deliveries accurately
- Get customer signatures for deliveries and pickups
- Pick up returns and empty containers
- Keep your truck clean and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety rules
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 25 years old
- Minimum 6 months’ experience driving comparable vehicles
- Valid driver’s license per federal and state requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid medical card
- Safe driving record
- Examples of comparable vehicles include, but are not limited to box trucks, city delivery trucks, walk-in vans, heavy-duty pickups, or straight-bed or bucket trucks (GVWR 10,001–26,000 lbs.)
