What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - II position at Dexter-Russell, Inc.?
Job Summary: Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications. Including but not limited to, machine set-up, programming, machine adjustments, troubleshooting, operating, wheel changes, and minor repairs to machines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Setup, program, and operate multiple CNC Grinding Machines.
· Wheel changes, basic maintenance, and material handling
· Must work within quality and safety standards.
· Job includes running production on automated or manual grinding machines, or any other duty required by the Department Supervisor.
Qualifications:
· Ability to stand for 8hrs. . Ability to lift 40lbs.
· Proficient computer skills.
· Strong ability to work as a team and direct others.
· Knowledge and use of basic hand tools and measuring devices, such as micrometer.
· Strong ability to multitask.
· Able to comply with quality standards and production priorities.
· Prior set up experience.
· Prior machining experience.
· Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
