Sr. Copy Writer

The successful candidate will work with various partners to develop and produce a variety of web, social, and print-based projects. They’ll be involved with everything from small product page updates to creating full customer experiences. This includes proofreading and QA of modular and variable content before final publishing.

• Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and spelling

• A sharp eye for proofreading and editing print, web content, graphics, and videos

• Equal comfort writing clever headlines and long-form copy
• A clear understanding of tone, voice, and the ability to adapt writing style based on the message and intended audience
• An understanding of creative strategy and the ability to clearly present ideas for stakeholder buy-in
• A positive outlook and attitude
• Knowledge of Google collaborative tools such as Docs, Slides, and Sheets is a plus

Your responsibilities:

• Review, edit, and approve marketing content to ensure Brand Personality and Voice (clear, conversational, engaging) are consistently represented
• Consult on resolving required regulatory or legal copy changes
• Make final decisions on implementing stylistic recommendations from stakeholders
• Leverage available tools to ensure consistency across content
• Consider brand impact across the full customer experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional creative and marketing teams as needed
• Create and maintain brand style guidelines
• Attend relevant project meetings

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of agency experience in copywriting or creative writing executing a variety of marketing channels
• Working proficiency with Google Suite

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative team as a copywriter or creative writer
• Working proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative, and Adobe Workfront
