Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Public Policy Manager to coordinate and build policy programs that showcase the value of company’s platforms and products to policymakers and other key audiences in the US. This role involves working across diverse content, policy, and product areas to advance company goals by developing and supporting initiatives that educate and inform stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Develop, create, and execute policy experiences, events, and outreach programs to educate and inform policy stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Policy, Product, Legal, Communications, and Partnerships to advance company’s policy goals.
- Build and manage partnerships with external stakeholders; represent company at events, conferences, coalition meetings, and working groups.
- Support engagement with policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, key opinion makers, non-profits, and other groups.
- Prepare company’s executives for meetings and public appearances involving third-party groups and stakeholders.
- Develop and lead internal processes to streamline team workflows and enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Travel as required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute policy programs and outreach events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to advance policy goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Support executive preparation for public appearances and meetings.
- Streamline internal processes and improve team communication.
- Represent company at external events and working groups.
Certain project that team is working on / what products are they supporting:
- Collaborating with team members to support and manage the network infrastructure.
- Coordinating with vendors and directly engaging with patent creators to manage partnerships and ensure smooth internal collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in government, technology, policy, or nonprofit sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of engaging with policy stakeholders.
- Experience managing policy programs and events.
- Knowledge of the federal and/or state policy-making processes.
Must-Have Skills
- Program Management & Partnerships: Proven experience developing and managing partnerships and leading program management across multiple organizations or stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Community Building: Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and organize communities of stakeholders, including direct involvement in stakeholder engagement and advocacy networks.
- Agency, Corporate, or Nonprofit Collaboration: Professional background in agency, corporate, or nonprofit environments, with a strong track record of cross-organizational collaboration and coordinating joint programs or campaigns.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Policy Expertise: Strong understanding of the policy landscape, particularly within technology, government, or nonprofit sectors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners across various functions.
- Public Speaking & Representation: Confident in representing the organization
