Job Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Workstation Technician to support a hardware lifecycle refresh initiative. This role involves ensuring IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, and printers are updated, replaced, and maintained within their lifecycle timelines. The position is fully onsite and requires frequent travel between locations, working closely with end users in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hardware refresh and replacement of IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers)
- Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and system issues
- Ensure all devices are updated, properly configured, and compliant with standards
- Support equipment onboarding and offboarding processes
- Travel between multiple locations to complete assigned refresh tasks
- Interact directly with end users, including professionals and staff, to coordinate updates
- Work collaboratively with team members while also managing tasks independently
- Maintain accurate records and follow ticketing/workflow processes as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Entry-level IT experience or foundational knowledge in desktop support or computer systems
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft tools
- Basic understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Motivated to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to IT environments such as healthcare or regulated industries
- Experience with PC setup, imaging, or deployment (training will be provided)
- Recent graduates from technical programs with strong customer service experience are encouraged to apply
