What are the responsibilities and job description for the KIDS Program Staff Supervisor position at DeWitt Public Schools?
Summary of Duties
The K.I.D.S. Program Staff Supervisor is responsible for the general supervision of staff and children while promoting a consistent, safe, and nurturing environment through positive interactions by teaching and assisting in daily class activities including lessons, snack, and clean up.

Community Education Director
Qualifications/Requirements
Program Staff Supervisors are responsible for the general management of the center/site, including the following minimum responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and evaluating center policies and program
- Administering day-to-day operations including being available to address parent, child, and staff issues
- Monitoring staff, including an annual evaluation of each staff member
- A Program Staff Supervisor will also serve as a caregiver, provided that role does not interfere with management and supervisory responsibilities
- Meets education and experience as required by the State of Michigan Department of Human Services
- Meets educational standards for the state of Michigan Child Care Licensing Department for Educational requirements
Compensation
Based on the non-affiliated KIDS Program Staff Supervisor rate
Work Schedule
M-F; up to 6.25 hours per work day
