DeVivo Companies currently has an opening for a full-time Service Advisor at our collision center in Middletown, CT.
Service Advisors are vital to our business and the work you do puts our customers’ vehicles back on the road. The Advisor initiates vehicle body/collision repairs by creating work orders and estimates, and by working with insurance companies to process collision repair claims.

Primary Responsibilities
- Create positive experience for customer
- Clearly understand and record the customer's vehicle concerns
- Ascertain status of vehicle at certain stages of repair
- Communicate customer concerns to body shop staff
- Create body repair work orders and estimates
- Create and maintain body/collision repair orders and repair history
- Keep customer updated throughout the repair process
- Maintain a professional relationship with customers and employees
- Maintain proper vehicle/unit maintenance records
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to obtain Connecticut appraiser’s license preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft office products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ collision estimating using current estimating programs
- ASE or ICAR training will set you above the crowd
- An appraiser’s license is preferred but not required
