About DeVine Woodworking

DeVine Woodworking is a NYC-based custom design-build woodworking studio specializing in bespoke built-ins, cabinetry, and furniture. We focus on thoughtful design, high-quality craftsmanship, and creating hand made pieces that feel both functional and artful.

We’re growing steadily and looking for a part-time woodworking apprentice who wants to refine their craft, contribute meaningfully to projects, and grow with the business long-term.

This is an apprenticeship-style role, not a general labor or construction position.

The Role

You’ll work closely with Travis DeVine, Owner and Lead Woodworker, on multiple projects at a time, assisting through every phase of the build process: from raw materials to finished installation. The day-to-day work varies, but the workflow remains consistent, allowing you to build real skills and confidence over time.

As trust and competence grow, this role offers increased autonomy and responsibility.
