Part-Time Project & Content Coordinator (NYC – South Bronx Woodshop, In Person 2 Days/Week)
$25/hour — 14 hours/week (10am–5pm, any 2 days Monday–Friday)
Location: South Bronx, 10454 (in-person at our woodshop)
About Us
DeVine Woodworking is a custom design-build studio specializing in bespoke built-ins, custom furniture, and thoughtful home storage solutions. We’re looking for a highly organized, creative, detail-oriented Project & Content Coordinator to support our growing client pipeline, assist with project operations, and strengthen our content and online presence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and operational work, thrives in a workshop environment, and wants to grow with a small, fast-moving woodworking studio.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
Project Coordination & Client Communication
- Manage our client inbox and respond to social media inquiries
- Answer calls and texts from prospective clients via our business line
- Schedule in-person and virtual consultations
- Create client project proposals and help manage follow-ups
- Order project materials, track deliveries, and coordinate logistics
- Track and organize project expenses and input them into QuickBooks
- Maintain a clean and organized office/desk area in the shop
Content Creation & Social Media
- Capture B-roll and behind-the-scenes footage in the South Bronx woodshop
- Create a monthly social media content calendar
- Post consistently on TikTok, Instagram Stories, and IG feed
- Update our website with recent project photos and descriptions
- Write captions and project summaries in our brand voice
Research & Special Projects
- Conduct an inbox audit to analyze inquiry types, zip codes, and client patterns
- Conduct social media content research
- Start and manage a monthly email newsletter
- Research woodworking schools and makerspaces in NY/NJ/CT, including class types and pricing
- Research potential new shop spaces, call real estate agents, and build a comparison document
- Research wood materials, finishes, vendors, and pricing for upcoming projects
- Create and maintain a client materials library — carefully collecting, labeling, and organizing samples of woods w/ different stains & finishes so clients can easily browse options during consultations
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicator
- Comfortable writing on-brand copy (captions, newsletters, proposals)
- Experience creating social media content (IG/TikTok especially)
- Comfortable taking photos and videos in a workshop environment
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, QuickBooks, Squarespace, Canva, Notion, and Airtable
- Able to track data and work with Google Sheets
- Comfortable being in the woodshop environment in the South Bronx (sawdust, tools, noise)
- Able to occasionally lift 20–30 lbs if needed (moving materials, content equipment)
- Self-motivated and confident working alongside a small team
Bonus Skills 💪
- Experience or interest in interiors, woodworking, or design studios
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Photo/video editing
- Project management or CRM experience
Hours & Compensation
- 14 hours per week
- In-person at our South Bronx woodshop (10512) — 2 days/week (10am–5pm)
- $25/hour
- Applications reviewed on a rolling basis; ideal start date is early January 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
- Opportunity to take on more hours or responsibilities as we grow
