What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electric Motor Winder/ Rewinder position at Devine Management Consulting?
This position requires you to work onsite in Corpus Christi, TX. We are actively hiring out-of-state candidates and will pay you a relocation allowance, sign-on bonus, and housing assistance to join our team. This is a specialized industrial motor apparatus trade position.
- Pay: $24.00 – $34.00 / hour (Based on experience)
- Schedule: Full-Time Overtime available
- Perks: Relocation reimbursement Up to $3,000 with receipts, housing assistance $650/month for 3 months ($1,950), and sign-on bonus provided
Core Responsibilities
- Rewinding: Wind and rewind copper coils for heavy AC/DC industrial motors and generators.
- Configurations: Connect complex winding patterns for 2, 3, and 4-hole industrial motor housings.
- Stripping: Tear down motors, mechanical-strip cores, and accurately document winding data.
- Testing: Run diagnostics using Megger, Hi-Pot, surge, and core-loss testing equipment.
- Assembly: Complete final industrial motor assembly, varnish dipping, and oven baking.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 3 years of hands-on electric motor stator rewinding is strictly required.
- Skills: Direct experience manipulating copper wire for heavy industrial AC/DC machinery.
- Blueprints: Ability to independently read winding data sheets and schematics.
- Tools: Expert use of torches, burnout ovens, and electrical insulation testing equipment.
