We are recruiting experienced Electric Motor Repair Technicians, Motor Winders and Motor Rewind Technicians from the South Bend, Indiana area for multiple openings in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Job Location: Corpus Christi, TX — Must Relocate
Pay: $24–$34/hour DOE Overtime
Relocation & Bonus Package
- Up to $3,000 relocation reimbursement
- $1,950 housing assistance
- $1,000 Day 1 sign-on bonus
- $1,500 after 90 days
- $1,500 after 180 days
Responsibilities
- Repair, rebuild, wind and rewind AC/DC industrial motors and generators
- Rewind stators, armatures, wound rotors and field coils
- Strip old windings and collect/record winding data
- Perform form coil and random winding
- Install copper windings, insulation, wedges and leads
- Perform brazing and soldering
- Disassemble, inspect and reassemble motors
- Perform Megger, surge, Hi-Pot and insulation testing
- Work with VPI and burnout/bake processes
- Read winding diagrams and repair specifications
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on industrial electric motor winding/rewinding experience
- Experience repairing and rewinding AC/DC motors
- Experience with armatures, stators, rotors, generators or field coils
- Must relocate to Corpus Christi, TX
