About This Role
As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in advising clients on estate planning, tax planning, and wealth transfer matters. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, advocating for clients, and contributing to the development of innovative planning strategies.
This full-time, onsite role is ideal for an experienced professional and offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships, deepen your legal expertise, and contribute to tailored wealth transfer planning strategies within a collaborative, growth-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on estate planning, tax planning, and asset protection
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, corporate formation documents, marital agreements and other legal documents
- Oversee probate and trust administration
- Conduct legal research and keep current with relevant laws and regulations
- Lead client consultations with clarity, compassion, and professionalism
- Collaborate with team members to deliver strategic legal solutions
- Manage caseloads independently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Colorado law license
- 1–3 years of experience in estate planning or related legal practice
- Passion for guiding clients through life and legacy planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and eager to grow personally and professionally
- Strong ethics, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work
- L.L.M. in Taxation is a plus but not required
