- Assist in managing case files and maintaining organized records within the law office management system.
- Support attorneys in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Prepare for litigation by gathering evidence, reviewing documents, and coordinating depositions.
- Participate in client meetings to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required or pending.
- Exceptional research skills using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce well-structured legal drafting tailored to various audiences.
- Strong negotiation abilities demonstrated through previous experience or coursework.
- Legal administrative experience including case management and document organization within a busy law office environment.
- Proficiency with legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with legal software is a plus.
