Summary
We are seeking a solution and result oriented Field Service Engineer to strengthen our Marine field service and commissioning team in the United States. As a Service Engineer your responsibilities are preventive and breakdown services of HI-FOG water mist fire suppression systems, additionally participating in installation & systems commissioning activities as well. The role requires travelling around 200 days per year mainly in the USA.
Key responsibilities
- HI-FOG fire suppression system service & maintenance on the customer's site
- Reporting & documentation, service administration
- Collaboration with other project team members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Vocational school education or higher
- Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering installations and maintenance (at least a basic understanding of the electrical discipline is required)
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in demanding arrangements (12 hours/day)
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Great communication skills and customer orientated attitude
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good MS Office skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Although not necessary, it would be an advantage:
- Automation systems and installations experience
- Marine industry experience
- Experience from HI-FOG systems
- Experience with PLC systems (Siemens / Mitsubishi)
- Life Saving business experience
