About the role
The Fire Protection Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing installation, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment, ensuring proper operation and compliance with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire hose reels, and automatic systems.
- Verify the condition of installations and ensure compliance with local and national standards (UNE, EN, NFPA, etc.).
- Prepare technical reports and record all maintenance activities.
- Diagnose faults and propose technical solutions.
- Coordinate with the safety team and other departments to ensure comprehensive fire protection.
Requirements:
- Technical training (Vocational Education in Maintenance, Electricity, Mechanics, or similar).
- Knowledge of fire protection regulations.
- Previous experience in fire protection system maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license (Category B).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong focus on safety and prevention.
- Attention to detail and diagnostic ability.
- Responsible work ethic and organizational skills.
Not necessary, but beneficial:
- Previous experience with water mist/HI-FOG fire suppression technology
