Responsibilities

- Perform data entry tasks related to payroll and human resources functions.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management regarding payroll expenses.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Manage the general ledger accounting related to payroll transactions.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of payroll processes.
- Utilize financial software such as Paychex, Workday, or Ceridian for payroll processing.
- Collaborate with the human resources department on employee-related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping principles and technical accounting practices.
- Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with financial software applications; knowledge of Paychex, Workday, or Ceridian is a plus.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
