Job Summary
The Shop Helper will perform a variety of cleaning duties in the shop, building and grounds area. This will be for a Days shift position.
Job Duties
- Keep shop floors clean of debris.
- Will drive a forklift at times. (Forklift experience is preferred)
- Ensure restrooms and breakrooms are clean and adequately stocked.
- Keep building grounds and parking lots clean of debris and trash.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous forklift experience is helpful.
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment.
- Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday
- Lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- Twist, reach and bend frequently
- Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)
- Possess depth perception and peripheral vision
- Possess the ability to hear
- Subject to standing on hard surfaces up to 12 hours per day
- Exposure to hot and cold conditions
