Overview
Desfina, a family-owned Greek restaurant in East Cambridge, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic part-time Server/Bartender to join our front-of-house team. In this role, you will create memorable dining experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service in a lively neighborhood setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism; present menus and offer recommendations
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (bartending duties)
- Deliver food and drinks promptly with attention to detail and presentation
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely orders
- Handle guest questions, concerns, or special requests in a professional manner
- Keep tables, dining areas, and service stations clean and organized
- Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Process payments accurately (cash and card transactions)
Qualifications
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Must be 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Evening and weekend availability preferred

Schedule
- Morning shifts: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
