About the Role

As an FOH Attendant at Mamaleh’s, you are the warm, welcoming face of the restaurant and the link between our kitchen and guests. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role that values efficiency, positivity, and attention to detail. Each shift includes 2–3 FOH team members working together to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism
• Manage orders via phone, online, and in-person
• Pack and hand off takeout/delivery orders
• Run food and drinks to tables
• Monitor and update order availability (86s) in Toast
• Restock retail, merch, coffee, bar, and service stations
• Prepare coffee, tea, cocktails, and milkshakes
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area
• Follow cleaning protocols (surfaces, trash, spot sweeps, etc.)
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service

Skill Requirements:

• BE AN EXTRA NICE PERSON!!
• Must love interacting with guests
• POS Systems, specifically Toast
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Have a "yes we can" attitude
• Have a sense of urgency
• Be a team player
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English

Also, It Is Preferred You Have Experience With:

• Knowledge and love of Jewish Deli culture
• Computer literacy
• Customer service experience
• Food Safety Knowledge
• A moderate amount of Spanish speaking
• Tips or 21 Training
• CPR
• ChokeSaver

Availability:

Availability to regularly work on weekends is required for this role

Evening availability is also strongly preferred

• Stand for 5–10 hours
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement
• Use of hands for POS and drink-making tasks

• Approximately how many hours a week would you like to work?
• We follow a fairly regular schedule every week. Opening shifts in our Cambridge location begin at 7:30-7:45 AM and end in the early afternoon, and closing shifts begin afterwards and end around 8:00-8:15 PM. Weekend shifts can also start midday and end in the evening before closing. (Regular weekend availability for 1-2 shifts is required for this role)
