Desert Christian Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, mission-driven High School History Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about inspiring students, building strong academic foundations, and integrating faith with learning. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for scientific discovery while guiding students in their academic, spiritual, and personal growth. The High School History Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-aligned science instruction for students in grades 9-12 including World History, US History, and Government/Economics. This teacher will create hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage exploration, collaboration, and real-world application of concepts. The successful candidate will also build meaningful relationships with students and families while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student success. B.S./B.A. ACSI Educator Certificate Required (Can be obtained post hire) California Subject Credential in History Preferred Transcripts verifying all post-secondary units required Copies of all relevant teaching credentials required
