Part-Time Weekend Forklift Operator

Location: Walford, IA

Position Type: Part-Time (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour (Paid weekly)

Schedule & Training

• Shift: Saturday & Sunday (8-hour shifts; some schedule flexibility available)

• Training: Occasional weekday training required (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: Accurately load and unload shipments.

• Order Picking: Prepare orders for shipment by ensuring exact product types and counts match specifications.

• Inventory Management: Locate, re-locate, and organize merchandise for optimal space efficiency while maintaining accurate records of all inventory movements.

• Safety First: Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Technical Skills: Basic math and computer (PC) skills.

• Physical Demands:  Ability to bend, stoop, and frequently mount/dismount a forklift,.

  • Ability to occasionally lift 50–60 lbs.

• Work Environment: Comfortable working in an environment with potential exposure to odors and common food allergens (soy and wheat).

• Pre-Employment Screening: Must successfully pass a physical and drug test.
