What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Litigation Associate position at DeployLaw?
We’re looking for a Litigation Associate (3–8 years) with experience in complex commercial litigation to join our NYC office. (Only 1750 Billables)
What You’ll Do
- Work on high-stakes, complex, and groundbreaking litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and briefs on class certification
- Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and collaborate with expert witnesses
- Partner closely with senior attorneys and gain valuable courtroom and trial experience
What We’re Looking For
- 3–10 years of litigation experience, including commercial, real estate, and construction matters
- Strong legal writing skills (one writing sample required)
- Solid deposition/discovery experience; trial exposure is a plus
- Excellent analytical and verbal communication skills
- New York bar admission in good standing
