Job Title: Hospice Supply Coordinator
Location: Tucson, AZ
About the Role:
Dependable Health Services is seeking an energetic and highly organized Hospice Supply Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role supports both Medical Staff and the Billing Department by coordinating supply orders, managing inventory, and assisting with patient-related data collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain bulk office inventory of hospice supplies
- Initiate and coordinate patient home delivery supply orders
- Receive, store, and distribute medical and wound care supplies
- Ensure inventory areas are organized, clean, and safe
- Track supply orders and tasks using Microsoft Excel
- Follow up with DME providers to ensure timely delivery of patient supplies
- Scan and upload signed orders into the Kinnser database for documentation
- Maintain a working knowledge of wound care supplies and related materials
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff and DME representatives
- Fulfill patient supply requests as directed by nursing staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in supply ordering strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to learn and navigate industry-specific software
- Knowledge of medical supplies and medical terminology preferred
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Demonstrates adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (reliable attendance required)
