Job Description:
The DePaul College Prep World Language Department seeks a collaborative, energetic, and positive educator for the role of a Spanish teacher. The ideal candidate is a qualified teacher with the following characteristics:

- Eager and willing to collaborate with members of a growing world language team;
- Comfortable working in a growing, dynamic work environment;
- Familiar with the implementation of ACTFL standards;
- Familiar with the creation and implementation of ACTFL-based IPAs;
- Is fluent and/or has full working proficiency in the target language;
- Competent or willing to learn to become competent in curriculum & assessment design;
- Values and seeks to understand the cultural and social identities of each student in their class;
- Ability to integrate culturally responsive practices into daily teaching.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Spanish
Illinois PEL or other state PEL that can be transferred to IL preferred
MA/MS degree in the content area or MEd is preferred

Minimum/Starting - Maximum $48,000 - $98,000
