As an Intelligence Operations Specialist (Cyber Intelligence Analyst) , you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
  • Conducting all-source intelligence analysis and produces written and oral products to inform senior HHS leadership on cyber and public health threats.
  • Coordinating and integrating intelligence information and threat data across HHS and interagency partners to support situational awareness and response efforts.
  • Serving as a liaison and subject matter expert with the Intelligence Community and other federal partners to exchange intelligence and represent HHS interests.
  • Advising senior officials and delivers intelligence briefings and assessments to support policy and operational decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS: WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:
  • Advising senior national security and intelligence executives on intelligence and cyber-related policies, practices, and governing legal frameworks-including Executive Orders 14028 and 14306, and NSPM-13 (2018), to ensure organizational compliance with federal standards.
  • Independently researching, evaluating, and integrating classified and unclassified all-source intelligence data or products pertaining to cyber intelligence threats to contribute to or independently produce oral and/or written products for HHS policymakers that address Presidential Intelligence Priorities and the National Intelligence Prioritization Framework.
  • Leading collaborative relationships with Intelligence Community and national security stakeholders across the cyber threat mission space to drive outreach planning, align efforts, keep stakeholders informed, and integrate insights into coordinated, enterprise-level deliverables.
  • Authoring executive talking points and building prep books in support of Cabinet-level Principals attending White House Policy Meetings and bilateral and multilateral meetings and representing the organization at National Security Council-led meetings (i.e., PCCs/IPCs, Sub-PCCs/IPCs, etc.).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to gain employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
