Job Title: Territory Manager
Reports To: Executive Vice President, Operations
Position Summary
The Territory Operations Manager (TOM) oversees the operational performance of multiple dental practices within an assigned territory. This role ensures excellence in sales and administrative execution, drives operational efficiencies, and supports practice growth through team development, managing resources, processes, and compliance across multiple full arch dental practices. The TOM acts as a liaison between Frontline leadership and the assigned individual practices, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care, service and reputation.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES 70-80% TRAVEL TO MULTIPLE LOCATIONS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple dental offices within the territory.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA).
- Performance Management:
- Monitor KPIs such as patient volume, revenue, treatment acceptance, and operational costs.
- Implement action plans to improve performance and profitability.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor practice managers and support staff.
- Promote a positive work environment and high employee engagement.
- Patient Experience:
- Ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction across all locations.
- Address escalated patient concerns promptly and professionally.
- Financial Accountability:
- Review budgets, forecasts, and expense reports for each practice.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Strategic Planning & Initiatives:
- Contribute to regional growth strategies and operational plans.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and process optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to drive new patient acquisition and retention.
- Support implementation of new technologies and treatment offerings.
- Leadership & Partner Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with Departmental leadership and practice partners.
- Address escalated issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 5 years of multi-site management experience, preferably in dental or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of dental operations and compliance standards
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and MS Office Suite.
