About Pigtails and Crewcuts
Pigtails & Crewcuts is a high-quality children’s salon dedicated to providing a fun and comfortable experience for everyone. Parents can rest easy in our clean, safe, and professional facilities designed to fit the individual needs of each child. Our stylists are trained to work with children and specialize in haircuts for boys & girls of all ages, trend-setting hair fashions, and retail product lines specifically created for kids. Each salon is designed with our most important customer in mind. We have themed & adult styling chairs, age-appropriate movies playing throughout the day, video game consoles, toys, and retail offerings including hair accessories & hair care products.

Are you outgoing, organized, and love working with families and kids? Join our vibrant team at our upscale children’s specialty salon as a Receptionist! We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented professional to be the warm, welcoming face of our salon and help create a memorable experience for every family who walks through our doors.
As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in building strong customer relationships and ensuring our salon runs smoothly day to day.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Greet families and young guests with a smile, ensuring every visit starts with a positive experience
- Answer questions about our services, products, and promotions in person and by phone
- Schedule and confirm appointments with accuracy and care
- Process payments and issue receipts using our POS system
- Keep our front desk and waiting area clean, tidy, and inviting
- Restock retail items and snacks to ensure everything is fully stocked for our little clients and their parents
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, professional attitude with exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, family-focused environment
- Previous experience in customer service or a front desk/receptionist role is a plus!

What We Offer:
- Hourly pay starting at $14.00 per hour depending on experience
- Work/life balance with salon hours from 10:00 am-7:00 pm M-F (Closed Thursdays), 9:00 am-5:00 pm Saturday, and 10:00 am-4:00 pm Sunday
