The Quality Assurance Engineer 3 will control risks for new machinery to meet targets for sustainable quality & productivity within 90 days of production startup. Under moderate direction, provides quality assurance direction and support to DENSO suppliers and customers in a timely and professional manner. Conducts on-site verification, identification of quality concerns and reporting, and provides quality training as needed. Acts as a resource for Safety Inspections for all equipment produced by our division.

1.0 QA – Design Concept thru Design Approval
2.0 QA – Installation Runoff Inspection Approval
Annual Salary: $93,000 - $117,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a communication leader between foreign and domestic customers, manufacturing, and engineering groups.
- Lead technical meetings and presentations.
- Perform assessments, prepare & present QA documents for review
- Develop database for tracking issues & feedback
- Drive changes related to QA to strengthen NA DENSO OEE & Quality
- Identifying risks for processes, designs, components, materials, etc.
- Help develop policies and procedures related to the QA process for machine inspection.
- Domestic and foreign travel will be required based on business needs.
0.5 QA – Specification thru Design Concept
1.0 QA – Design Concept thru Design Approval
- Support designers to evaluate & develop mitigations for risks with product, process, equipment, applications, technologies, etc.
2.0 QA – Installation Runoff Inspection Approval
- Support integrators to evaluate results of foreseen & unforeseen risks with the machine build process.Analysis to include details for summarizing cost, schedule, production KPI, inspection results, mitigated & remaining risks.
- Evaluate production KPI, issues & countermeasures, reflecting on previous QA activities with the purpose of identifying improvements to apply on future machines & handing off the machine to the business unit.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Products (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access)
- Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
- CSME Certification
- Experience leading projects and CFTs
- Analytical & troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD, EPLAN).
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMI, and robotics.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices (e.g. NFPA, ISO, and RIA).
