National, award winning plaintiff litigation firm that represents tens of thousands of clients in personal injury litigation, civil litigation, and mass torts including product liability, dangerous drugs and defective medical products is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team.
The ideal candidate will also have workers compensation experience and be bilingual in Spanish. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in all aspects of personal injury litigation as well as have great research and drafting skills. This is a full-time in-house position based out of the firm's Houston, TX office.
Qualifications
- Must be a good standing member of the Texas bar
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in all areas of personal injury law; experience in workers compensation is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Must have knowledge and expertise in all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial
- Must have knowledge and experience taking and defending depositions
- Must have strong and persuasive oral advocacy as well as excellent writing skills
- Must have excellent research and drafting skills
- Must be skilled in evaluating cases
- Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload
