Compensation
$120,000 base salary
Responsibilities
- Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
- Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
- Gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case and conduct legal research on case law and premises liability
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
- Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
- 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
- A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
- Must be computer proficient
- State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
- Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience is required
- Texas license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is required
- Bachelor's degree and J.D. is required
- Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law, wrongful death, civil law is required
- Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
