IT Project Manager – Data & Cloud Delivery

Job Overview:

• M-F, 8hr days in office, with an option to work remotely 1 day/week, 3535 Colonnade Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35243.
• The IT Project Manager will ensure IT practices remain aligned with business objectives while leading the successful delivery of technology initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• The role focuses on managing project lifecycles, coordinating technical and product teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, tracking project progress, and mitigating risks and dependencies.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional delivery of technology initiatives. Facilitate project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, and resource planning.
• Manage project lifecycle from concept through implementation. Lead sprint planning and stand-up meetings. Collaborate with technical and product teams to define and prioritize workstreams. Create visibility into project status and stakeholder progress updates.
• Identify cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Develop and drive mitigation plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred candidates will have experience with: Cloud Project Management, Pipeline creation, and deployment processes.
• Data medallion architecture/processes, Data security practices, Data product delivery across: Development, UAT, Production environments. Databricks experience preferred. Environment / Methodology: Agile / Scrum environment, sprint planning, and stand-up leadership expected.
• Cross-functional collaboration with technical and product teams.
• Highly desire the ability to manage sprint/agile project management style; highly desire experience with cloud computing or on-prem to cloud transitions, Databricks app deployment experience.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of IT Project Management experience, Bachelor’s Degree required, Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize, track, and deliver results, Experience managing cross-functional technology projects
