DeMayo Law Offices is seeking a Litigation Attorney with a proven track record in North Carolina personal injury cases to join our growing legal team. If you're passionate about helping injured clients and ready to bring cases from filing to resolution—including trial—this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, backed by a respected firm with a long-standing reputation for results.
What You’ll Do:
- Represent personal injury clients in District and Superior Court, guiding them through all stages of litigation—from pleadings and discovery to arbitration, mediation, and trial.
- Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to evaluate liability, damages, and legal strategy.
- Collaborate with experts, conduct depositions, and manage discovery processes with precision and focus.
- Prepare compelling briefs, develop trial arguments, and advocate powerfully in court.
- Keep clients informed and supported throughout the litigation process with empathy and clarity.
- Contribute to team performance by identifying operational efficiencies and helping enhance the litigation workflow.
What You Bring:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
- At least 2 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience in NC required
- South Carolina Bar admission a plus
- Confidence handling a litigation docket independently
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills
- Client-first mindset and collaborative approach
- Courtroom presence and strategic thinking
