What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at DeMarco Management Corporation?
Our growing company is looking for a skilled full time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is split between a site in Manchester and in Waterbury, CT. The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional service, reliability and quality work for all areas related to customer service, physical building maintenance and janitorial duties.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-Respond in a timely manner to tenant work orders and after hour emergency calls.
-Completes unit turn overs in accordance to company policies and procedures.
-Perform basic plumbing such as faucet and toilet repairs.
-Perform drywall repairs, such as patching holes, sanding, painting
-Perform repairs in units and around the building.
-Performs routine cleaning of interior and exterior common areas.
-Possesses knowledge of HUD inspections and REAC inspections preferred.
-Subject to being on call for after hour emergencies.

-Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in residential property management field.

-Must be willing to work and assist co-workers as needed, in addition to working evening and weekend hours if needed.
Minimum Requirements:
-Candidate must have general maintenance experience with working knowledge of plumbing an basic carpentry skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
-Possesses tools necessary to complete repairs and work orders.
-Ability to climb (ladders), balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift.
