This leader will be responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining a strong and consistent HR program that supports operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, organizational culture, and workforce stability.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Initiative
- Take ownership of HR and workforce initiatives across all facilities
- Build and implement a comprehensive HR and payroll program with clear processes, expectations, and compliance checkpoints
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying needs before they escalate and offering proactive solutions
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the VP of Operations and CEO
- Ensure all facility-level HR/Payroll Coordinators consistently meet regulatory, company, and compliance requirements
- Review and monitor onboarding, orientation, employee files, payroll accuracy, labor budgeting, and HR documentation
- Implement standardized HR practices across facilities to support consistency and stability
- Lead recruitment strategies to ensure strong candidate pipelines for key roles
- Support retention efforts, employee engagement, recognition programs, and culture initiatives
- Provide guidance to administrators on employee relations, corrective action, and performance improvement
- Create and maintain a strong orientation and training program for HR/Payroll Coordinators
- Develop tools, checklists, and systems that facility teams can follow with accuracy
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure skill development and compliance
- Coordinate company-wide meetings, leadership trainings, and special projects at the discretion of the VP of Operations
- Assist with organizational communication, planning, and company culture initiatives
- Be flexible and willing to take on a wide variety of tasks, projects, and support needs as they arise
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR leadership experience; multi-site or healthcare/LTC experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, payroll processes, labor laws, and workforce management
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel regionally as needed and work in Corporate Office

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
