Job Title: Part-Time Business Office Assistant
Reports to: Director of Finance & Superintendent

As a Part-Time Business Office Assistant at Delton Kellogg Schools, you will play an essential role in supporting the daily financial and administrative operations of the district. Through accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service, you will help ensure efficient business office functions while contributing to a positive and collaborative environment that supports students, staff, and the community.
Duties
- Work 20 hours per week year-round
- Prepare cash receipts and deposits
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Process payroll documentation.
- Assume all the secretarial needs required by the Business Office.
- Contribute in other ways as assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee
Qualifications:
- A positive, flexible, and friendly attitude and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and high knowledge of computer software applications, including Excel, keyboarding, and the conventions of written and spoken communication
- Knowledge of basic accounting, College-level accounting, and business coursework preferred
- Experience in the use of PowerSchool
- Knowledge of Payroll, basic school operations, etc.
