The Business Office Manager (BOM) Assistant will assist the Business Office Manager (BOM) in the managing the facility accounts receivable system.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily bank deposit for the General Account, and provide to Business Office Manager (BOM) for posting.
- Prepare daily deposit for the Resident Trust Account.
- Distribute Petty Cash from Trust Account to Residents.
- Be prepared for State Survey regarding the trust Account.
- Assist with Medicaid applications.
- Obtain signatures on the Freedom of Choice once MDS Coordinator inputs the LOCD into the State System.
- Mailing private statements after Business Office Manager (BOM) reviews.
- Making private collection calls on outstanding payments.
- Checking Consolidated Billing Invoices.
- Mailing notices of Medicare Non Coverage once reviewed by Business Office Manager (BOM).
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions, (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communications skills.
