POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary responsibilities include ensuring that all testing materials required for administering academic, placement, business/industry, proctored, credit-by-exam, CLEP, and others offered through the Testing Center are readily available and current in order to meet the needs and demands of students, faculty, staff and community. This position is responsible for ensuring all appropriate procedures are followed prior to, during and following all testing. This position is responsible for the confidentiality and security of all testing materials.
In addition, this position is responsible for performing routine clerical, receptionist and software program support duties as needed to meet daily departmental operational needs. This position requires organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills. This position requires effective oral and written communication in conjunction with people and technical skills in order to accomplish effective and efficient day-to-day operations. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand/and or walk 90% of the time during each shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Receive and release academic tests from and to faculty and/or staff
- Administer academic tests according to policy and procedures to students
- Assist with providing approved accommodations to students, including acting as a live reader
- Score academic exams (using a Scantron machine) upon request
- Print out academic reports for faculty upon request
- Receive and administer assessment and specialized exams according to policy and procedures
- Enter test information in and out of appropriate databases
- Process billing requirements for specialized exams as needed
- Monitor student activities while testing is taking place
- Maintain filing system
- Respond to all inquiries and operate all office equipment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Technology Skills
- High school diploma
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently, utilize organizational and multi-tasking skills, and establish priorities in a busy work environment and problem-solve.
Additional Experiences Considered
- 1 – 3 years of related work experience and knowledge of general office operations
