Key Responsibilities
- Organize exploratory interviews, discovery sessions, and workshops with State representatives to gather detailed understanding of current workflows and identify process shortcomings.
- Document stakeholder perspectives, technical implications, and current intake process workflows to inform process improvements.
- Contribute to the development of a new intake process, ensuring alignment with State objectives and operational efficiencies.
- Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the prototype and document outcomes for transparency.
- Effectively communicate technical and process-related information through written reports and verbal presentations to a diverse stakeholder group.
- Coordinate and facilitate conference room demonstrations of the developed technology, ensuring major functionality aligns with stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with technical staff to integrate feedback from demonstrations and refine the solution.
- Contribute to project roadmaps illustrating long-term technology integration within the State’s existing ecosystem.
- Lead agile Scrum processes, including creating documentation, facilitating sprints, and managing project scope and risks.
- Draft and update comprehensive final reports, capturing all relevant project and technical details, incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience as a business analyst supporting state, local, or corporate clients.
- Proven expertise delivering CCWIS solutions, specifically in intake processes, call center operations, and case actioning.
- Hands-on experience with at least 2 Commercial Off-The-Shelf CCWIS systems, including RedMane Technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to map workflows, analyze business outcomes, and develop process improvements with technological tools.
- Extensive experience conducting workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quantify business value through data analysis.
- Skilled at identifying stakeholders, securing support, and translating high-level requirements into actionable tasks.
- Experience managing project budgets, scope, and risks.
- Knowledge of algorithm design, implementation, and testing in developmental projects.
- Experience working within government or social services environments, particularly Child Protective Services.
- Familiarity with data systems used by Child Protective Services.
- Prior experience with natural language processing and machine learning projects.
