Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, automated test scripts, and test cases across web applications, APIs, SDKs, and services.
- Build and maintain automated test suites to ensure extensive application coverage.
- Perform UI, API, integration, performance, load, regression, and system testing to validate software quality.
- Review application requirements, technical documentation, and development plans to craft effective testing strategies.
- Document, track, and update defects, testing results, and project status reports.
- Retest reported issues to verify defect resolution and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with software engineering and product teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products.
- Enhance automation tools and frameworks to address complex testing challenges.
- Troubleshoot software issues using logs, source code, SQL queries, and debugging tools.
- Provide project estimates, status updates, and testing documentation to stakeholders.
- Monitor testing timelines and resource requirements to ensure timely delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen overall software quality and release readiness.
- Experience developing and executing automated tests for web applications, APIs, or software services.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Visual Studio, or similar platforms.
- Experience testing REST or SOAP APIs.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Proven track record of identifying, documenting, tracking, and retesting software defects.
- Understanding of source code review and debugging in languages such as .NET, Java, or PHP.
- Experience with UI automation frameworks and API testing.
- Knowledge of regression, integration, performance, load, and system testing methodologies.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.
