Oracle Financial Specialist

Oracle Financial Specialist | Location: Remote | Contract | Hourly Pay Range: $75-$90

Support the management and enhancement of Oracle EBS Financial Management System (FMS) across multiple modules including Grants Management, Inventory, HRMS, Time and Labor, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. Lead efforts in supporting, maintaining, and developing integrations between Oracle FMS and Workday, while delivering custom reports and solutions to optimize financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions within Oracle EBS R12.2.x, including SQL, PL/SQL, RICE objects, Oracle Forms, and BI Publisher reports.
• Support and troubleshoot Oracle FMS modules, including Grants, Projects, Purchasing, Payables, and General Ledger, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Build and maintain bridge integrations between Oracle FMS and Workday ERP, including Purchase Orders, Invoices, GL, Grants, AR, and Projects.
• Develop and update Oracle FMS reports to reflect integration data and support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with the internal IT team and Oracle support to resolve issues, apply patches, and implement product updates.
• Perform system upgrades, customizations, and performance tuning to meet evolving business needs.
• Coordinate testing efforts, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and document test plans and defect resolutions.
• Provide weekly status reports and presentations to management on project progress and system health.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience with Oracle EBS Financial Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay modules, General Ledger, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Technical expertise in R12.2.x architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell scripting, Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher.
• Experience supporting Oracle Grants Management, Projects, Inventory, HRMS, and Time and Labor modules.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain integrations between Oracle FMS and external systems such as Workday.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (W-2).
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Oracle Financials or related areas.
• Experience with Oracle Application Object Library, Oracle Application Framework, and Oracle Database 11g/12c.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript and UNIX Shell.
• Prior experience supporting large enterprise financial systems in a government or regulated environment.
