Key Responsibilities
- DESIGN, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based Power Systems applications.
- IMPLEMENT scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and AWS services such as Step Functions.
- BUILD and support integrations between enterprise applications and data platforms.
- ENSURE application reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- SUPPORT modernization initiatives, including cloud migration and microservices adoption.
- COLLABORATE with system operators, data engineers, and cloud engineers throughout the SDLC.
- IMPLEMENT monitoring, automation, logging, and operational support processes.
- PROVIDE technical leadership for system enhancements, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience developing Java applications in energy, utilities, or large enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and Step Functions.
- Knowledge of enterprise relational databases such as Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of Power Systems, Load Forecasting, Outage Coordination, or Energy Operations.
- Exposure to ML/AI applications like time-series analytics and forecasting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cloud operations.
- Experience leading architecture, modernization, or cloud transformation initiatives.
- Background in energy or utility sectors with enterprise application development.
