The Project Manager will drive project execution, monitor progress, and facilitate collaboration across agencies, vendors, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of activities across all 13 initiatives within the Rural Health Transformation Program, ensuring alignment with federal and state requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project work plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation trackers in collaboration with initiative leads and project teams.
- Coordinate daily activities among government agencies, subrecipients, contractors, and program partners to support seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, barriers, and dependencies, and communicate issues to leadership for timely resolution.
- Track action items, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables and milestones.
- Facilitate project meetings by preparing agendas, documenting decisions, and tracking follow-up items.
- Support budget monitoring, procurement, and contract management activities related to the program.
- Collect, organize, and prepare data for program reporting, including progress updates, expenditures, and performance metrics.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials for internal and external audiences.
- Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring key decisions and activities are properly recorded.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Experience supporting healthcare, public health, or community-based programs in a regulated environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating across teams and organizations.
- Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and tracking tools.
- Familiarity with federal grants management, procurement, contracting, or program reporting is desirable.
- Experience working in government or healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of healthcare initiatives, especially in public health or rural health programs.
- Prior experience with enterprise project management or cross-functional team coordination.
