The Cashier is an hourly Front of House position that provides a positive first impression, including a warm, inviting greeting. As a Cashier, you're a brand ambassador with comprehensive menu knowledge and exceptional communication skills, ensuring all food, beverages, and merchandise are rung into the point of sale system properly while identifying, presenting, and packaging items for Guests with fast, efficient service that guarantees Guest satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
Guest Service & Sales
- Maintain a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean professional image.
- Perform duties to ensure Guest satisfaction, working in a busy environment under pressure while correcting any Guest food issues.
- Have complete knowledge of the menu to answer Guest questions confidently.
- Suggest to each Guest the purchase of additional food, beverage, and/or merchandise items.
Register & Store Operations
- Ensure all items are rung up correctly; collect payments for goods, make change, and hand out receipts.
- Be responsible for all monies in the cash drawer and handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions in a professional and efficient manner.
- Keep the register area clean, organized, and well stocked, and properly perform opening and closing shift duties.

Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass Cashier and Bakery tests as required.
Physical Requirements
- Be able to articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells to Guests.
- Stands, works, and moves during the entire shift with frequent bending and stooping. Lifts and carries up to 10 lbs. multiple times per shift.
- Be able to acknowledge hazards such as broken glass, burns, slipping, and tripping.
- Be able to read menu items and understand ticket orders.
- Be able to hear and verbally communicate with Managers, Associates, and Guests in the midst of loud background noises.
- Able to work with different types of kitchen equipment, including but not limited to a coffee/tea brewing machine.
