What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor Specialist Youth Programs position at Delaware Valley University?
Delaware Valley University is currently hiring a pool of qualified instructors to teach summer Kids U!, Inspire U! & Equine camps and teen programs.
We are looking for K-12 and higher education instructors for summer specialty camps and school-year programs in the areas of Equine, Animal Science, Recreation, Theatre, Lego Robotics, Life and Environmental Sciences, Digital Media, Arts, Physical Sciences, Chemistry, K’nex Physics, Recreation, Applied Engineering, Technology, Literature, Business, Math, Coding, App and Game Design…and more to join our creative team of instructors for our Youth Programs at Delaware Valley University camps and teen programs. Share your knowledge and passion. You will develop the curriculum and create activities and/or deliver an existing program, set up and maintain program area, supervise participants and a camp assistant, manage inventory, and teach a one-week K-12 program in your area of specialization over the summer. Teach for one, two, three or up to eight weeks depending on your availability.
Instructors should have extensive knowledge in their area of specialization, high energy, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills. Experience supervising and working with children or teens in the fields of education, coaching, specialty area, camp, social work or psychology preferred.
