What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Pool Ed.D Program position at Delaware Valley University?
Delaware Valley University is currently searching for part-time adjunct faculty to instruct Ed.D. students in the Ed.D specialization areas of: Higher Education Administration, K-12 Program Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology, or School Operations . Accepting applications for graduate level courses.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach a broad offering of concepts in the Ed.D specializations listed above
- Teach at various levels within the discipline
- Effectively incorporate on-line learning options
- Provide data to support program and course Learning outcomes mastery
- Post and maintain regular office hours
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Working Conditions and Frequently Used Tools:
- Office, library, computer room
- Typically sitting at a desk or table
- Typically standing or walking
- Occasionally lifting 25 lbs. or less
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Evidence of successful scholarship
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to graduate teaching and mentoring
Required Education, Experience, and License:
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Higher Ed Administration, K-12 Administration, Ed Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction or related disciplines
- Master’s degree in K-12 Administration/Educational Leadership, K-12 program design, evaluation and assessment, or related area
- Specialization in K-12 Administration/Educational Leadership, K-12 program design, evaluation, assessment, or related disciplines
- Experience teaching courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in K-12 Administration/Educational Leadership, K-12 program design and assessment or related disciplines
Selected applicants will be responsible for providing the University with clearances, appropriate to the position, that have been completed within the last 5 years. These clearances could include but are not limited to the Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check. Additionally, upon an acceptance of an offer of employment this position will require an official transcript verification.
