The Graduate Program of Arts in Criminal Justice program at Delaware Valley University invites applications for adjunct instructor positions. This is a pooled position which will serve as an electronic file from which candidates will be drawn on an as needed basis. The program offers a hybrid model of instruction, wherein each class is 50%
face-to-face and 50% online. Courses are offered in the evenings. Complete applications are to include:

- Security Threat Groups
- Advanced Criminology
- Criminal Law and Procedure
- Diversity and Criminal Justice Social Policy
- Problems in Contemporary Corrections, Probation, and Parole
- Ethical Leadership and Accountability in the Criminal Justice System
Preferred Requirements:
- Ph.D.
in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Criminology or Legal Studies - Demonstrated
teaching excellence - Experience
working with diverse populations
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s
degree with significant work experience in law enforcement administration,
public safety, courts, corrections, or homeland security. - Demonstrated
teaching excellence - Experience
working with diverse populations
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach a specified course
- Prepare course materials
- Stay current on topics and practices related to the discipline
- Provide support and guidance to students
- Evaluate student performance
- Participate in Outcomes Assessment practices
- Work with Graduate Program Director
- Learn and/or update the use of Blackboard (DE101 certification training provided)
