The English department at Delaware Valley University seeks adjunct faculty members to teach Digital Photography classes.
Applications will be reviewed for fall and spring course work on a rolling basis.
Coursework that needs instructors include:
• Digital Photography I
• Digital Photography II
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach introductory Digital Photography course on an as needed basis. Hold one office hour per week per class.
This course will introduce the processes, principles, and tools of photography. Instruction will center around building a strong technical foundation in digital photography using DSLR cameras and/or Smartphones as well as digital editing and workflow using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Lightroom. Students will develop visual literacy regarding image creation and editing throughout a semester of looking at work, discussion, and critique. Students will walk away from this course with a portfolio of work and a solid foundation in photography.
Minimum Requirements:
• MFA Degree
• Must be fluent in Lightroom and Photoshop
• Must have some studio lighting experience
