The Agribusiness Program at Delaware Valley University equips students with the analytical skills and practical experience to succeed in the vitally important food and agriculture industries.
We invite applications for adjunct instructor positions in both our undergraduate and graduate programs. Applications will be reviewed for Spring and Fall teaching assignments on a rolling basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching assigned courses
- Student learning outcomes assessment
- Participation in ad hoc curriculum development/review
- Continued professional development.

Undergraduate (On-Campus or possibly asynchronous online)

- Agribusiness Management
- Agricultural Markets and Prices
- Current Issues in Agriculture and Food
- Management of Agricultural Technology
Graduate (Asynchronous online using Canvas)
- Agricultural Marketing
- Global Agriculture and Trade
- Legal Issues in Agriculture and Food
- Agriculture and Food Policies
- Agribusiness Supply Chain Management
- Applied Decision Analysis in Agricultural Markets
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in agribusiness, business, management, economics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university.
- Five or more years of food or agriculture experience.
- Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred. Please provide a statement of your teaching philosophy or course evaluations if applicable.
Selected applicants are responsible for providing the university with clearances that align with the position and have been completed within the past five years. Clearances include but are not limited to: Pennsylvania Patch, FBI fingerprints completed by IDENTGO and Child Abuse History clearance.
