We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team. This leadership role is essential in supporting our mission to provide exceptional care by fostering a strong, compliant, and engaged workforce.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Director oversees all aspects of HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, payroll, and staff development. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure staffing stability and a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical staff
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (including PA DOH regulations)
- Handle employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Maintain personnel files and HR systems in compliance with regulations
- Coordinate benefits administration and open enrollment
- Support leadership with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Track and analyze staffing trends, turnover, and HR metrics
- Payroll
- Ensure proper credentialing, background checks, and required screenings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
- 3 years HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or skilled nursing
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and healthcare regulations
- Experience with payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
